About us
Kidlington Gardening Society, formerly Kidlington Horticultural Society, now meets in the small hall at Exeter Hall, Oxford Road, Kidlington, usually on the first Wednesday of the month at 7.30 pm. Meetings are free to members, £3 to visitors.
As well as our monthly meetings, which feature a range of speakers on topics related to gardening, we also have visits to gardens, flower shows and other places of interest. We have fundraising events during the year, including a Plant and Cake Sale in May.
In cooperation with Kidlington Parish Council and Cherwell District Council, we also contribute towards Kidlington in Bloom, which is part of the national Britain in Bloom scheme, by planting up some of the hanging baskets displayed around the village.
Kidlington Gardening Society is affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society. Our members also benefit from discounts at some local garden centres.
